Many performers can distinguish themselves with a hit or two. A lucky few of those can string several songs into a career. But only the rarest of artists can use their voice to capture the flavor of an entire era in song. Yavapai College invites you to join us when the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center proudly presents An Evening with Judy Collins, Friday night, September 1, at 7 p.m.
The Yavapai County Fair is the longest-running fair in Northern Arizona, and it’s an annual event that’s eagerly awaited by locals and visitors alike. This exciting event is packed with a wide range of activities, from live music and rodeo shows to BMX stunts, exhibits, and carnival rides. The Yavapai County Fair is celebrating 110 years with lots of fun events, exciting rides, and tasty treats at the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Grounds on September 7-10, 2023!
The new-look Prescott Badgers football team showed their potential on both sides of the ball Friday night in a convincing 39-0 road win over the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos in Avondale. The Badgers offense last season operated through the running game, fueled by the senior trio of Cody Leopold, Cian Mckelvey, and Maurea Norris. With those three having graduated, the passing game was figured to be more featured in the gameday attack and that certainly was the case in game one of the 2023 season. Senior quarterback Jaxon Rice completed 14 of his 21 passes for 265 yards and four touchdowns.
